Intuitive Birthing and Beyond

Hi, my name is Lucy, I’m a midwife and originally from the UK.  My interest in midwifery was initially sparked after being a birth partner for a friend, many years ago. After having children of my own I decided to change careers (from accountancy) and study midwifery.  I qualified as a midwife in 2010 and worked within the UK’s NHS system for the first two years after qualifying. Myself and my family (husband, 3 children, 1 dog and 2 cats) moved to Perth in 2013 and have settled in the suburb of Heathridge. I have found midwifery to be very challenging here and wanted to find a better way of working to enable me to support women fully.  The Hypnobirthing Australia Programme has reignited my passion for providing women with good quality antenatal education and empowering them on their birth journey. I am currently studying Antenatal/Postnatal Aromatherapy and have also recently become a qualified Infant Massage Instructor.  I am extremely passionate about helping you achieve your birthing goals and look forward to meeting you.
